Rubina Cokar, producer
After graduating from Ryerson University with a BA in Radio and Television Arts, Rubina went on to work on visual effects at Mr. X Inc., where she contributed to feature films like Resident Evil Extinction and Shoot'em up. She came on to The Alley team because of her uncanny ability to keep things on task and on schedule. When she's not producing documentary films you'll find Rubina hard at work as a production supervisor at TELETOON Studios and working on her second documentary film project. Rubina looks forward to many more film projects since producing allows her to fully realize both her love for creativity and her love for stationary products.

Philip Maglieri, director
Philip is a Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto. He has a degree in film production from Montreal's Concordia University. His first film, Getting Lost won praise for its candid exploration of harm-reduction programs and the over-the-counter drug trade. After living beside the alley and being woken up by the activity in it for nearly six years, Philip decided to turn his sleepless nights in to a film. He's still up all night, but happily so with a camera in hand.

Laura Rogers, writer
Laura is a writer working in Toronto and she holds a degree in English Literature from Queen's University. After working for several years in the advertising business, Laura had a carefully honed sense of what would draw an audience. After spending two years listening to scandalous things happening in the alley outside her bedroom window, she knew that the space had a story to tell. Laura continues to work as a writer at TBWA\Toronto, but looks forward to future films as she appreciates working on projects that don’t include pressure to make the logo bigger.

Peter Shepherd, producer
Peter, a long-time member of DOC and self-professed doc fanatic, is excited to finally go pro as a member of The Alley's production team. Peter is full of ideas and full of ways to make those ideas come to life. You'll often find Peter behind a still camera, exploring the city on foot, and contemplating humanity's place on the planet. For a living, Peter currently manages projects in the Ontario public service. He has also worked in construction and advocacy, failed and succeeded in studies and love, and picked up the inevitable small wisdom that comes with survival.
