By purchasing The Alley you're not only buying a good film, you're also contributing to the revitilization of the alley itself. As a neglected urban space, the alley is a magnet for the kinds of antisocial behaviour you'll see in the film. Our goal is to transform the alley from a place where people routinely urinate, deal and use drugs and commit other crimes into a safer, more welcoming space for the neighbours and kids who use it.

Instead of gating the alley, which would create other potential hazards and making it useless to the people who use it, or installing institutional style security cameras, we've chosen a more delicate approach: We plan to paint a legal graffiti mural and install robust but tasteful lights. We feel these two simple solutions will result in the alley becoming better monitored, more appealing to use and less inviting for more sinister purposes.
